TYPE
Alcohol content of 16% vol., sugar content 120 g/l. A fortified wine produced in the Marsala area, from Malvasia vines.
Harvesting period: end of August/September.
Initial fermentation in steel silos at controlled temperature. Fermentation is stopped by adding wine spirit. At least two months of maturation in bottle.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Ideal with confectionery.
Serve at 10/12°C as an aperitif, at 16/18°C as a dessert.
